Monica R. Stone, MD
Dr. Stone was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She received her medical
degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. in
1983. Dr. Stone then trained at Keesler USAF Medical Center from 1983-1987.
She has practiced OB-GYN in Florida, Louisianna, Virginia, Kentucky,
Alabama and Georgia. She joined our practice as an employed physician in
2004. Dr. Stone is married to Wayne Stone and she has two sons.
Perry Wells, MD
Dr. Wells received his Doctor of Medicine and Surgery degree from
Autonomous University of Guadalajara in 1976 and then his Doctor of Medicine
degree from Medical College of Georgia in 1978. Dr. Wells completed his
residency training at Charity Hospital, Tulane University, 1979 and his
OB-GYN residency at Medical Center of Central Georgia from 1980 - 1982. Dr.
Wells then began private OB-GYN practice in Macon, GA from 1982-2003, when
he chose to retire from medicine. Dr. Wells returned to the practice of
medicine by working Locum Tenens for Low County Health Systems in Fairfax,
SC from 2003- 2004.
In 2004, Dr. Wells began working Locum Tenens with
Thomaston OB-GYN and later in 2005, he became a part-time employed physician
with our practice.
Dr. Wells is married to Leslie Wells and they have 4 children. Dr. Wells
speaks English and Spanish.
